Purpose

Category in ITWORKS ECOMMERCE System is a configuration element to define Category of products. Category is used the system to assign the Product being sold through a ecommerce portal in company. The Category is generally available in the system for product categories and brands.

Setting

Category Name : 255 Character Alphanumeric code to identify the Category

Base category Name :  Select from dropdown of parent category

Brand : This is field enter multiple brands associated with the category

Sort Priority Number: the number signifies display preference, lower the number higher the preference in display

Image: Upload the image of the category 

Meta Title : This used as title of the category

Meta Description : The description used by search engines

Meta Image : this used by search engines

Slug : This is the link of category

Integration

It is integrated with the ITWOKS ERP System.
